Can log in, but get logged out

I was trying to update the floater message and was able to log-in, change the floater (got the "success" message), but then when I tried to update the membership list, I got the message that I was logged out. When I went back to log in, the floater message was not changed. I tried several times. I have never had this problem before.

I am not using Internet Explorer. I am using Chrome. I am able to log-in, but after I tried to change the floater message, which it says I did successfully (but it doesn't actually change), I tried to go into member management, and got this message:

Please try clearing your Chrome cache and try again you may have old code cached.

I was able to update your floater message using chrome.

Well, I tried clearing the Chrome cache and that didn't work. BUT what did work was using Firefox as my browser.

What add-in do you have installed in your chrome browser?
