WOW
Agreed this is remarkably difficult. This morning in the little box below a screen very much like this I attached a file (I will try once again)
I am at a site www.toastmastersclub.org/welcome - towards the bottom of the page it asks to enter your club number...2368. It returns with a pop up that says Titan Toastmasters and contact information of Ed Rielly's email address.
As stated earlier I have gone to the TMI website and changed the contact information so again either TMI has not changed or FTH has not refreshed.
All I am asking for and I am trying to follow the process as described here is set up a FTH website. As you can see from the screen shot it will not let me as they say it is already in use.
So now it appears that I am the contact at the site listed above where I am requesting a FTH site. and I have filled out the forms and Lo and Behold I cannot submit the request.
Perhaps there is yet another misunderstanding I am trying to either 1) establish an FTH site OR find it. I hope these screen shots help. I realized that after you did not receive them earlier it requires me to add a file AND insert the file
I appreciate your patience and help

Look, we have people all the time setting up websites with *no issues*. We have over 10000+ clubs and over 300,000+ members using FreeToastHost, so it does work.
Did you follow the directions I posted about doing a screen shot??? We cannot help you if you do not follow our directions.
I think the issue here is that you are getting confused about information retrieved from Toastmasters vs what is in our database. When you enter the club number on the welcome screen, the information that comes up is coming from Toastmasters find a club, *not* from our database. I interact with our database regularly, so I know how to determine if a club is in it or not.
The reason we require an email confirmation via the club contact is so that people are not abusing the system for non-toastmasters purposes. The club contact email is usually a reliable club contact ***if it has been kept up to date***. And, yes, we have had abuse of the system in the past (it is a free website after all), so this is not just us being paranoid and trying to make this any more difficult than it needs to be.
What you need to do is as follows:
a. Make sure your club contact email on Find a Club is accurate and up to date. If not, update it, and wait a day or so. It is Toastmasters that is causing the delay, not us. (we know from experience)
b. Verify that server@toastmastersclubs.org is listed as a safe sender in your email so that the confirmation link does not go to your spam folder. Make sure you include the *two* s's ... you dropped one in your last post.
c. Check the welcome page pop-up to verify that we are receiving the correct contact information from Toastmasters. Again it is their delay, not ours. There are two databases (theirs and ours) and they are not linked for security/privacy reasons.
d. Do the welcome screen. www.toastmastersclubs.org/welcome/ Make sure you click the verify checkbox before clicking the Submit button.
e. Check the email associated with the club contact email for the confirmation link. You should get the link pretty quickly... it is automated.
f. Click the link. Presto! You have your website.
The link gets you in as the admin... click the admin console link to get into admin console and set things up.

Finally
I am in.
Steve I DID use the box below the message to ADD a file (two actually)
I did click the INSERT button and VERIFIED that there were hyperlinks (apparently as they did not look like a typical email attachment)
PRIOR to clicking submit.
Sorry you were unable to receive them I am working in Windows 7 on the chrome browser.
Thank you for your help
