email lists

Is there something we have to do to turn on the email lists? I understand I am supposed to be able to email president@dtsptoastmasters.com or treasurer@dtsptoastmasters.com or officers@dtsptoastmasters.com or members@dtsptoastmasters.com. All the email addresses are entered correctly in the website and the roles assigned.

When I send an email it immediately bounces back with error message:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

president@dtsptoastmasters.com

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain dtsptoastmasters.com by smtp.secureserver.net. [72.167.238.29].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.1.1 <president@dtsptoastmasters.com> Recipient not found. < x.co/irbounce >

I am sending the mail from my gmail account that is associated with my membership that is registered in the website as well.

Your custom domain name is not setup correctly, please read the documentation on the MX records

Figured it was something like that!

So to be perfectly clear, this is what i need to change/effectuate?

Type Entry IP Address/URL
A dtsptoastmasters.com 50.19.253.65
A www.dtsptoastmasters.com 50.19.253.65
A mail.dtsptoastmasters.com 50.19.253.65
MX 10 mail.dtsptoastmasters.com

Then put the website name (without the www prefix) in the custom website domain box, at the bottom of the website settings module in the site admin.

Remember to remove the MX records that are already predefined.
