Sondra,

Can you tell me the steps you are taking when adding a link?

It works fine for me.

You have to use the proper icon for a link. The correct icon is shown in the legend under the editor window in the admin console.

Thank you, that's something we've been working on to help us get the word out, make it easier to figure out what to write for our PR, what images to select for meetings, and to have some fun topics to enjoy. The idea of creating the Facebook events and listing them on our website home page and linking to them from the website calendar was new as of today. We just recently acquired our YosemiteToastmasters.com domain name so that we can advertise the website with an easy to remember URL on business cards, emails, press releases, etc. We're not quite at 360 degree marketing yet, but our District 33 Website master, Tim Mullins, has been very helpful and encouraging on the website side and the rest is starting to come together. We're getting there!

I am using Internet Explorer 11. I highlighted the text "Defusing a Bomb" and entered the URL to a YouTube video. When I log out of the admin console and click on the link I get the message I listed above.

I had the same trouble when I entered a link from the Source edit mode until I added the "target="_blank"" tag to each link.

Try using http instead of https

Set _blank on the Target tab of the links dialog.
