href link propagated incorrectly across web page

Hi, I added some links to our club homepage via Source editing. For some reason when I saved the new links, all other headers, paragraphs, and images on the same page suddenly became linked to the last of the urls that I had added.

How can I avoid this from happening in the future and what is the easy way to fix this on the current page, hopefully without having to manually remove it from every line?

Thanks,

The best way to add links is in the editor by highlighting the text, clicking the link icon (chain link with the green + sign) and add the link.

The best way to clean this is to copy the source code into wordpad, then do a search for the link (make sure you copy the entire string <a href=" www.facebook.com/events/874974342565854/ " target="_blank"> ) and replace with nothing, then replace all of the source code with the cleaned code.

Thank you RogerM. I was able to make the corrections in WordPad and load them back in without too much hassle. Thanks also for the tip of the link button. I will use that in the future.

When I use the Link button to add a link and then try to use it, I get the following message:

"Info icon
This content cannot be displayed in a frame "

When I edit in source I can add the target="_blank" tag, which opens the content in a new window. But I don't know how to do that from the link button.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Sondra
