Hi,

I've been trying to do a first time log in at my new club's website: 4506013.toastmastersclubs.org , but no matter how many times I try the "authentication link email is not emailed to me.

I have been a member of multiple clubs that use FTH and have never had a problem logging in before, whether it's been one club at a time or multiple. I am using the same computer, MacBook Air running Yosemite 10.10.2, that I used when I logged on as a new member of Atomic City Toastmasters Club 1760 1760.toastmastersclubs.org , and became the admin of that site just a couple of months ago.

I checked my junk, trash, spam, iCloud, and everywhere else I could think of and there is nothing there. I am stumped. Can somebody else figure it out?

Thanks!

Theresa

yes. I forgot to say the site admin checked that with me, too.

Per our email logs (see below), the email was delivered to your account. Based on my reading, it looks like iCloud's junk mail filter is very aggressive.

My suggestion would be to create two contacts in your contact list, server@toastmastersclubs.org and agenda@toastmastersclubs.org
Hopefully, that should effectively whitelist FTH emails.

I can do that. But isn't it weird that just two months ago I initiated an account with that same email and had no problem? And yesterday or the day before I opened my iCloud account and waited, because I found something else in the trash that I had been waiting for. That's what prompted me to try again. But nothing.

Thanks for the advice. I shall do it and give it another go!

Yeah, but you have to understand that email providers are constantly updating their spam filters to try to stay ahead of spammers.

It is frustrating for us because it is kind of a moving target as far as how to ensure that our emails are always delivered as intended.

It is why I went so far as to create a doc on the subject: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/e...embers-receive-email
