Embed Facebook Posts was created by G. Day
I am trying to embed posts from our club's Facebook Page to the Home Page of our website at 1059533.toastmastersclubs.org .

Following Facebook's instructions seems to work... but I've found that the Facebook post only displays properly when I'm logged in (either as admin or as a member).

Please advise.

I saw your facebook post at the bottom of your home page perfectly a minute ago, not logged in to your site. When I tried a second time it had changed. Are you changing things at the moment?

We do not control when Facebook updates its information.

I have not changed anything on our site since posting this request for assistance.

I've noticed, as you have, that display of the Facebook post is inconsistent... very frustrating! Best results when I'm logged in but even then it's not 100%. I've checked the site using 3 browsers; Chrome, IE and Safari.

I would suggest contacting FTH Ambassador Darlene Marquardt, username morrowcoteacher, as she has some experience with setting up the Facebook widgets.

See the bottom of her club home page, for example: 154.toastmastersclubs.org/

Enough is enough! After spending a good portion of two days researching and experimenting I give up and move on.

I've decided to capture an image of the Facebook post I want to promote and add a link to the post. Works every time and... I can link to any post, including Events.
