The developers of the editor is actually reworking their notifications scheme, and we should see an updated notifications approach whenever they get version 4.5 released. Hopefully, the update will positively impact their dialogs, also.

As example of their updated notifications, see the screen shot in this page: dev.ckeditor.com/ticket/11580
I don't think that notification will be used in dialogs, but at least you get the idea that they are working on improvements.
