Error message when attempting to add new club members Club 8196

While trying to add new members this morning, I got the following error:
***DATA TRANSFER ERROR***
JavaScript Function=Membership[Save]
Status=error
Error=

Please notify us about this at support.toastmastersclubs.org

Is this a software/website issue? Or is it possibly a browser issue?

Got this error message while using IE 11. Retried adding new members via Chrome and it worked fine. So, apparently a browser compatibility or security issue.

No, it is an error from the javascript code that is telling us that something did not go well when transferring information to/from the server.

Due to occasional internet "hiccups" that can occur, it is not necessarily a code bug, but it might be related to one. That is why I show those errors and ask you to let us know about them--they help me know about any potential bugs that need to get handled. Also, they help you to know that your information may not have gotten properly saved to the server. Sometimes, this type of error may indicate that you are not running the most recent javascript code... that is why we typically ask you to click the reload from server link at the very bottom of your screen when you see a data transfer error.

So, can you tell me what you were doing just prior to clicking save in Membership Management? Entering a new person, editing an existing one, sending a new member welcome, custom groups, etc. etc. Also, can you reproduce the problem in IE11? I realize you have switched to Chrome, but the problem may still exist in IE11 and I want to see if there is anything I need to address there.

I was trying to enter a new member. I tried twice (first with member name and email, then just with member name) but got the same error message both times.

Thank you. Were you trying to add the new member with the table or with the Quick Add tab? Can you give me the name of the person? (First name and last initial is probably sufficient.)

If there is an issue that can be reproduced... I would certainly like to get it resolved.
