Good day, fellow Toastmasters!

I am the Webmaster for District 11. Our Public Relations Manager just tried to send a message out to those individuals on the divdirs and areadirs distribution lists created by FTH. She received a bounce back message (pasted below) stating "Recipient not found."

Is there something as Webmaster I need to configure on the District's Web site or is this failure something out of my control and for the FTH Admins to correct?

Regards,
Eric

Replied by SteveTheTechie on topic District distribution list not functioning
Since "Recipient not found." is *not* one of our bounce messages (I know... I define them), I looked a little deeper...

It turns out that your DNS records for your custom domain are not set up correctly to allow FTH email to be processed. (see www.digwebinterface.com/?hostnames=toast...8.8.4.4&nameservers= ) Therefore, emails with your custom domain will not make to the FTH server. That is why you are getting a bounce that is not one of our bounce messages.

Your admin needs to make sure that you are following the information in the following doc:
support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/dns-settings-overview
