Save As Agenda Template

Clicking on that Save Agenda As Template button won't overwrite any existing templates, unless you specifically tell it to in the next pop-up window. Give the new template a distinctive name and you should be safe.

I don't always trust software to do what I think it should do, either, so I can relate to what you're saying. I think that the doc would benefit from a bit more explanation (and another screenshot or two), and I'll see what I can do about it in the next few days.
