Message Not Delivered error

Looking back at the thread of the same name from 8 months ago I believe I have a different situation. Sending e-mail to my area council e-mail group which is about 18 folks. For only two am I using their FTH officer alias. I am seeing "You have sent an e-mail to an e-mail address () that is not active on this server. Sorry." but don't know if it's because I (not!) typed incorrectly the VPM@ClubName.org address or if FTH is complaining about one or both of the e-mail addresses in the officer's profile. Since the parentheses are empty, I'm left guessing, and I'm not a good guesser!

Not yet. I am testing the VPE and VPM addresses one at a time. Only other notable thing is that those two folks were part of a blind carbon copy. Any reason why FTH would cough with BCC'd addresses passing through its neighborhood?
