limit files to only access by officers

HI,
I have created a custom web site that can only accessible by officers. My plan is to upload documents to this site so that only officers can view these documents. Please let me know if there are any tools that I can use.

I noticed the file upload function only has two permissions member or public. Any other options?

Officer only access for files will be added in the next major update.

Do you know when the new release will be available? And once it is available, how many officers can access the officers only documents? Currently three is the Max numbers.

Can you suggest something in the interim? If I create a officer only access web pages, what are the ways to store documents on the web page?

As I am a volunteer doing this in my spare time, release of updates is subject to my available spare time and life priorities. Also, I am not going to discuss specifics of what I may or may not put in a release. A lot of it depends on what I can get reliably working. My *tentative* plan is to put officer only file downloads in the next release... that is all I am going to say about that.

You can use Google Docs as a workaround. Just put a link to the Google Docs file on an officer only web page.
