Looking for old club officer e-mail aliases to close club's FB account

We created a club Facebook account/page in 2010. We need to close that FB account but we can't seem to get into it (obviously, we haven't been keeping it up as we've forgotten the log-in information). Anyway, I was thinking that we may have used the old FTH1.0 versions of the club officer e-mail alias. Would you please provide me the club officer e-mail aliases (addresses) that would have been in use in 2010?

Thank you,

I don't remember what those aliases were. Maybe someone else does, but I wouldn't be holding my breath. :(

A few other clubs who have used the current set of aliases for social media have run into problems when wanting to close an account. You need to be able to send from the email address you used, as proof of identity, before you can close most (all?) accounts. The officer aliases don't let you do that.

Maybe I need to add a note to the docs about this.

Facebook has an option to claim the page, then close it.

I'll give that a try and post later on the results. Thanks for the assistance.

I tried the FB claim the page option, but unfortunately, the page is not showing as "unmanaged," so I can't claim it. I reported the page, but I fear that FB won't remove it.

It looks like we need to use the old alias e-mail address, if someone on the FTH team with some history or old rules documentation can provide that information.

Thanks,

Tonia

Sorry the old officer alias no longer work as the old domains are all now dead.
