Meeting Sign Up Report

Hi, I'd like to print the weekly Meeting Sign Up Report all on 1 page. Right now it prints to 2 pages. If I could adjust some of the formatting (such as font size and/or Role descriptions) that would save a few lines and print on one page.

Can you help direct me how to do that?

Thanks
Jan, VPE

You cannot directly do that at the current time.

What should be able to do is adjust margins and page scaling in your browsers print preview window.

That is what I do to adjust the printout.

Darn. The margins are already as tight as possible. It's the size of the font and excess space after General Evaluator.

I don't see print scaling in my options.

Is this something that could occur in the a future idea or not on the table?

Thanks again.

Printing options are really controlled mostly by the browsers. There is not a whole lot of printing options available to me via HTML, CSS, or Javascript, and what is available is not always cross browser compatible. Printing is a whole area of weakness in HTML and the internet, in general. For example, just doing table heading rows that show up on each printed page is almost next to impossible without some serious kludgy code that is not cross browser compatible. Basically, the web was really created more for *viewing* web pages rather than printing them--this is why I have been trying to sort out how to incorporate PDF generation into FTH. (PDFs are how Google solves the printing problem in Google Drive Apps.)

I may allow adjusting font size in printouts in the future, but you really should be able to do that with printed page scaling now. Which browser are you using?
