How Do I Change the "on behalf of" Name in E-mails from My Club's Website

Ok, did you still see the issue in the email as received on your end?

The reason I ask is that I am not seeing an issue with the raw outgoing emails as captured by the test... take a look at the attachment, particularly the lines starting with "From:". They all look correct to me.

That means if you are still seeing an issue on your end, it is likely a name caching issue with your email provider... It can be challenging to resolve... you can try creating a contact entry for the server email address. That may work.

Attached is the email logic trace, also. No logic issues observed.

I have the same problem from my club site. This has been true for years but it just became a serious problem.
All email sent by any member to members@carylinatoastmasters.org is received by members as "on behalf of Kemal Akozer."

Kemal died Sunday so this is a real concern.

I am the website administrator and I have searched all over the site and I can't find anything that causes it. Please fix this as soon as you can.

On closer examination, it probably is on my end since when I hit reply it shows the message as being "on behalf of" the sender not Kemal. I use Thunderbird to read mail that's coming in from a Yahoo based account, and it looks like the "on behalf of" is correct on Yahoo too.

I guess this is a Thunderbird problem for me.

I use Thunderbird, and I'm guessing that there is an old entry in your Thunderbird address book with Kemal's name attached to it.

Either delete the entry altogether, or edit it to remove Kemal's name. You could also uncheck "Prefer display name over message header" and see if that helps, too.
