How Do I Change the "on behalf of" Name in E-mails from My Club's Website

Greetings,

Whenever an e-mail is sent from my club's website to the membership, it always has the name of our club secretary instead of the name of the person who sent the e-mail.

EXAMPLE: Toastmasters Club 771880 on behalf of Valerie Lyons (when it should say on behalf of Cassandra Lee)

How can I update this issue?

I am assuming that you mean that you send it from "Send Basic Email" in Membership Management, correct?

Are you logged in as member or as the admin when doing the send? (it matters)

Thanks for the great question StevetheTechie.

For any of my members who use the "Club E-mail Addresses" function to e-mail the entire club, this issue happens as we are logged in as a member.

Ok, I am still bit unclear as to what steps you are doing... When you say you are using the Club E-mail Addresses function, do you mean you click an address there and it pulls up your email software to send an email. "Club E-mail Addresses" is really more of a listing than a function (but you can send email from it if you have your email client set up properly).

Whenever we use "Club E-mail Addresses" to gain access to our group e-mail address of members-771880@toastmastersclubs.org, the sent e-mail shows up in Inboxes as "Toastmasters Club 771880 on behalf of Valerie Lyons" (when it should say on behalf of Cassandra Lee or the name of the other members who sent the actual e-mail).

Is there a way to fix this?

Are you sending the email from within hotmail and typing in members-771880@toastmastersclubs.org ? Again, the details matter if I am to be able to help you get this resolved.

Please bear with me... There are some subtle nuances to email features, so I need to get very specific.
