Creating a link to the document saved in the File Master

Hello : I manage the AOS 6847 website , we are trying to create a link to a document saved in the File Master to a web page under the Main Menu .When we copy/[paste the link it does not work .

Can you please support.

You really should show the name of the document on the page and not the whole website address... It is safer that way... Virus safety... You must have done something incorrectly... I just did it and it worked fine...

Your description doesn't tell us exactly how to duplicate your problem, but it sounds like you're trying to copy and paste a link, somehow.

Here's how you link to a file in FTH:

First try this exactly, and if that doesn't work, make sure to tell us the exact link you tried to use, so we can examine it. It wouldn't hurt to paste the link into a .txt file, at the same time you're trying to paste it to create the link in your site. That would make sure that you didn't inadvertently change it.

It may seem dreary to go through it, but you can find how to do many wonderful new things with your site, and if you skim it just a little at a time, it's very helpful when you need to go back and check. One of the more dedicated support people here is really, really into documenting everything you could ever want to do with FTH. (It's semi-awesome, considering it's all done as volunteer work...)
