I am unable to change a club members email address. I was adding a new member and I noticed that an existing member has the same Primary email as the Club President secondary email. Not sure how this happened. Below are the steps that I did to change the member's primary email. If I try to put the email in the secondary space I get the same results. The only thing that I was able to do was to change the existing member's email to a made up email and it changed. However, after closing the site and logging back in and repeating the below steps to change the email to the correct email I get the same results.
  1. Launch admin console
  2. Select Membership Management from the Select a Module: at the top of the screen.
  3. Select the box next to the member's name
  4. Select the forward arrow at the end of their line.
  5. New window pops up
  6. Change their primary email to the most current email.
  7. Click the save button
  8. Receive a notification at the top of the screen "The Primary e-mail address is already being sued by another member in this club."
  9. Look through the other members to make sure email address hasn't been accidentally entered into the wrong profile.
  10. The email does not exist in any of the other profiles
  11. Repeat Step 6 & 7
  12. After it fails again I click on close and I am asked if I want to save the changes I select Yes, however, the new email address doesn't save.

This only happens with existing members and I need to change their email. What is the fix for this issue?

Did you look at the other tabs. It may just be a wording mistake in the error message. ("Members")

If this is a Former Member that you are reinstating, just move them to the Members tab from Former Members.
