Meeting Description doesn't save to Agenda Template

Hi!

I'm new to this forum but I have been in my club for about 4 years.

We print out an agenda for every meeting and normally we have a word document which we update before every meeting by transcribing role sign ups from the website.

We would like to print right off the website and to that end I have been working on revising our default agenda format on the website. We have a format that I think the club may be happy with, but then I just realized that, after saving the Agenda template that the Meeting Description does not get saved. We would like the printed agenda to have our club name and number, and the theme right at the top.

What's the best way to do this? Having to make manual edits to the the Meeting description for every new meeting added to the calendar would be less than ideal, especially it took my quite bit of fiddling to get the images and words to look just right.

Attaching the desired "Printed Agenda.pdf", and the agenda we currently use (Template_Seamasters_Agenda_dropdown_lists_v20.docx)

FreeToastHost only has one format of printed Agenda. If you want something different you will have to copy and past toa word document in your own format.

I'm not sure if I described the problem correctly. I can get the FreeToastHost printed Agenda to work great for us. I just can't get the Meeting Description to save to the template for future meetings.

I can edit the Meeting Description for one meeting. But when I create future meetings and either use that meeting or use a template saved from that meeting, the Meeting Description reverts to the "Welcome to our meeting" default words and logo.

If I can get a workaround or fix for that, there's no issue with using the printed Agenda from FreeToastHost.

You set the default Meeting Description from the Agenda Global Settings. That is consistently used for new meeting agenda setup. Templates do not contain the Meeting Description (it is ignored in them).

This is how it has worked way before I got involved. I may change it at some point in the future, but not currently a priority to update it.

You have to change the meeting description in the Admin Agenda module.
