Accept Cookies prompt

Since this Cookies prompt was written into FTH software access, I keep receiving Unrecognisable Device email are continuously. I may not be the only one.
I have attached a copy of what is being transmitted - member of two clubs with two different email addresses.
Please check and post an explanation if anything is being updated to accommodate this.

You can disable the unrecognized device notification in your member profile if you need to.
see support.toastmastersclubs.org/2011-10-23...ice-ip-address#69212 for details

It has nothing to do with the cookies prompt though... You are collapsing two different feature adds.

I will be improving the functionality in the near future to deal with dynamic, changing IP addresses which is what I suspect you are dealing with.

I would suggest shutting it off for now and checking back in a few weeks to see if I have the improvement implemented.

Hi Steve

I too have been getting the Unrecognised Device emails that Les commented on. I am admin/webmaster for a number of club sites and move around lot which does suggest it is an issue of frequently changing IP addresses. However, these emails often follow a "Cookie accept" request which suggests there is a link between the two issues. I have repeatedly been asked to "Accept Cookies" for the same site even though I have clicked on the link in the confirmation email.

Good to know we can shut these emails off though.
