Issue with Agenda links in email

One of our members has an issue when she clicks an agena link from an email to sign up for a role. Instead of bringing her to the website, it launches an email request to fill the role and then she gets a confirmation email that notes her request was submitted. No one else sees the request, though... it seems to be going to the beyond... and the role doesn't get assigned to her. Usually she follows up by texting the officers and so we have been entering her name and assuming she just wasn't logged in properly, but this week she didn't follow up and was very upset that her name wasn't on the agenda. We had her forward all the emails she was getting and we haven't seen anything like this before. Any idea is this is a setting we need to change or why this is happening for one member and not others?

Sorry about not including the club prior... I belong to and am an officer in multiple clubs. I'll include it in any future posts.

Darlyn is using a primary and a secondary email address.. Her "college" email address is hosted by outlook.com, which might be causing the problem. I don't have enough knowledge to be able to help, but I suggest that she tries the following: Whitelist toastmastersclubs.org as described here: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/e...embers-receive-email

Who is the sender of the email confirming that her request was submitted? My sixth sense tells me that the email is being blocked after she has sent it - but I can't make any sense of that either.

If she can switch off her secondary address (temporarily) next time she uses the response links and it works, that will give as a starting point to investigate further.

It is likely that your member has enabled response links in agenda emails to use MAILTO (email only) responses to take roles. This optional and should not be an issue. I use the MAILTO reponses myself since they do not require a login.

I would suggest that you look at your agenda notification settings for when members take roles to ensure that they are set as you wish.

To debug further, we would need for you to replicate the string of events so that we can inspect our email logs to see what is going on.
