Can not get agenda item to save as an item that members do not sign up for.

Can not get agenda item to save as an item that members do not sign up for. I uncheck the box but it still saves with a place for members to sign up for the agenda item.

what is your club number, what date is the agenda and what is the role?

You really need to give us all the information so we can see what you have done.

I did give all this information but apparently I did not enter it in the right place, I mean I am not stupid. Please excuse me as I am NOT a tech person and it took me over an hour to figure out how to get out of the forum maze just to ask a question and even now I don't know how I did it.

It is when I enter any role. The bottom Toastmaster agenda item is the item in question but I could not get any new agenda item to recognize the unchecked box.

I may be getting confused on how to put "roles" in the agenda differently than "agenda" items.

1) if you have a repeating role Ie. Toastmaster if you surround them with * such as *Toastmaster* the persons name will be repeat on the subsequent roles.

2) For the Presidents role you have it set correctly. Remember your view of the agenda is not the same as regular members. They will not see the member pull down. The pull down is there for you as Admin/editor to select people for non-signup roles.

3) if you create the agenda template you can prefill those roles that are always the same people, ie. President SGT@Arms
