chartered vs unchartered

Hi. I recently requested and received a free toast host site. I had been trying to submit it as a chartered club, but it kept saying that that chartered club could not be found, when I had the chartering certificate in front of me, so I just requested it as unchartered so I could get started. I came to find out through further emails that TMI had set them up as an Online Club, which apparently doesn't show up the same way. My question is...now that I have the FTH site, does it make any difference functionality wise if it was set up as chartered vs unchartered? If there is a difference, how can I get it switched to the right kind?
thx,

Chartered vs Unchartered: It really just is a difference in how we verify the club's existence (via online information) and approve the request.

It is interesting that having an "Online" club is different somehow (w/ regards to online info about the club)... I am not aware of how the club information is different... Can you please share any relevant details you have discovered on this? I may need to make some tweaks to the website request process as a result.

Here's the relevant part of the email from someone at the New Clubs Team at TMI:

"Thank you for your email and I apologize for the oversight on our part. Club 790xxxx is chartered as an Online Club. Online clubs do not appear on the Find a Club search option. However, they do appear on our website here. I am having your club added, but it will take about 24-48 hours for the club to appear."

I'm not sure if the find a club function is how you verify... thanks for the response. I'll get going on working on the site!

Yes, we use find a club for verification for chartered clubs. Can you please tell me your club # and district #?... I want to look through available information to determine if there is another way we might be able to verify online clubs.
