Apologies - another question: Why do we get the subscribe message in the home page?
How do we remove it?

You mangled the HTML code by trying to jam a bunch of stuff into the page caption, which is not what it is intended for.
I cleared the code out so the page properly renders now. Here it is... notice that it is truncated at the end... too long:
