Hi Pam !

Many thanks for your prompt response.
Unfortunately there is no input in the Registrar Details section.

Please see the attachment in relation to what I see.

Best wishes.

Because nobody put any custom domain name registrar information in your club website, we cannot really help you figure out now to get it registered again.
It appears the previous account owner let it lapse as your domain is available. The good news is you don't have to track down a member/former member who might have control of the domain in their personal account. You can create a new account. Search for your domain at Whois ( www.whois.net/ ) or Godaddy ( www.godaddy.com/ ) or any domain registrar that you prefer to use.

Once that is done you can populate the Registrar Information box so a future club admin doesn't have to go through this process at renewal time.

Alternatively, FTH provides a way for clubs to 'brand' their address without the added expense and technical support of a 3rd party domain;

That is because whoever set up your custom domain never entered that information there as we generally recommend.   (We know that over time, club members come and go and stuff gets forgotten--that is why that box is there.)

My recommendation... if you know which past or present club member set up your custom domain, then talk to them.   If you do not know that, then you will need to reach out to one of the many available domain name registrars (e.g. GoDaddy or Namecheap) to register the domain name again--they will charge a small fee for that and the name registration will expire again at some point in the future.  Once you do that, talk to us again to guide you in getting it set up again w/ your website.

As an alternative, you may want to just consider ditching the whole custom domain name approach and switch to using a website alias.  A website alias is free, less complicated, based solely on what FTH provides and essentially serves the same purpose as a custom domain name.  For more details, look at the following docs:

Thank you very much. Things are much clear now.

Apologies - another question: Why do we get the subscribe message in the home page?
How do we remove it?

Many thanks once again!!

No, it is mangled content.  You would not be able to still see the unsubscribe message if someone else clicked the unsubscribe link.
