Invoice notice - Blank first name

Hi,
Is there a different variable to use for the member's first name in the invoice template?  [MEMBERFIRSTNAME] was what was listed.

The received email first name was blank:
Hello ,

Thanks for being a member of Jade Toastmasters Club 5560506. It is time to renew your membership for 6 months.

Template email included variable for first name:Hello [MEMBERFIRSTNAME],Thanks for being a member of Jade Toastmasters Club 5560506.  It is time to renew your membership for 6 months.  Thanks,

You might be thinking of the {{firstname}} variable which is available in the Membership Management module.  I use this to personalize, via templates, messages sent to members.  That and the other MMM variables are available on the Dues Follow-up tab if you generate an e-mail there through FTH.  As far as I know the only member name variable in the Dues app is [MEMBERNAME], which is typically the member's first and last names followed by his TM designation(s) (DTM, e.g.)
I also notice that the variables are now shown in double curly braces at the top of the Invoice Settings tab but they're in brackets in the body customization box down lower.  Being a good picker of nits, I would like consistency there, and perhaps inclusion in the online documentation regarding which variables are available in the dues app and what they do/mean.
Unless someone chimes in to the contrary, we'll be using [MEMBERNAME] as it's the only option.
