Unwanted "jibberish" at bottom of club's home page
2 years 9 months ago - 2 years 9 months ago
Greetings, the club's website home page has unwanted "jibberish" at the bottom of the page. It has references to the "Meeting Information/Directions", "Meet some of our Members", "Downloads" and "Unsubscribed" tabs. All of this information wasn't added to the home page. I reviewed the Home Page under the Website Settings tab and didn't see any of this information listed. However whenever I save it shows up on the active page. I'm not a programmer, but I looked for anomalies in the source code and didn't see anything. Any thoughts why this is occurring?

Everything at "click here for directions..." and above looks good. It is just the additional information at the bottom of the home page that is unwanted.

I just took a look at the HTML source code behind your home page design and see nothing amiss. I then replaced the whole page with a simple word, but the unrelated text appeared. This is something that Developer Steve James is likely going to need to look at.

Your main heading text for your home page was too long and was getting chopped off which made the HTML invalid.
