Search engine optimization

2 years 5 months ago
#90444
To whom it may concern, Is there any documentation or instructions on how to perform on-page SEO (search engine optimization) on our free toast host site? I'm specifically looking to edit header pages (H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6), alt text, etc. I would like to do this when adding new content to the pages on our site. Any assistance or direction would be much appreciated. I have a Master's Certification in SEO, SEM, Digital Analytics, etc. I'm just not familiar with where the control panel is on FTH for SEO. Thank you for your assistance!

You might wish to start at the Improving Your Google Ranking page in the online FTH documentation:

I already read that article and it doesn't address my question. Hence the reason for my support request. Can you specifically provide guidance regarding the question in this thread? See below. Thank you so much!

You can only edit the text you input for the right hand content panel using the online text editor in wysyiwiyg or source mode. You can use in-line css but if your changes interfere with the template we will clear the page.

You cannot edit any of the provided template or css.
