Meta tags

As the keywords have a character limit, I entered =10.5ptmeta tags in the HTML formatted pages and after saved and came back in the meta tags were missing. How do I get meta tags to stay so I can use more keywords than that field enables you to have?

Thank you

Please refer to our Terms of use agreement here:  support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/terms-of-use-agreement
By the way - it seems that meta tags are no longer relevant or used by the major search engines

Terms do not address meta tags - they do not change a template or affect their use especially as there is a way to see source code.  That alone implies you can add your own HTML

I'm assuming you're referring to the "keywords" text box on the home page.
The information provided is clear:
These are the keywords metatag for search engines. Each word or phrase should be separated by a comma. Example, "Public Speaking, Leadership, Toastmasters, Nowheresville NC, speeches, confidence".
I'm not sure where in the source you're trying to add your HTML for that?  Either way, it seems a pointless exercise.

As mentioned in the post the keywords have a limit - not sure why - that doesn't make sense to limit what in essence is marketing which shouldn't be limited.  There a LOT more words to use than those.  There is even a project in Level 5 of one path to increase search traffic and that uses different words.

If you are in the admin console, choose a page there is the source button - see attached - that toggles between an editor and html

If meta tags isn't an option, an easy fix is to take out the character limit in the keywords field

The limit will not be changing. You will just have to select those terms that best fit your club.

FTH is a free service and you will need to live within the limits that have been set.
