Unable to access club website

1 year 2 months ago
#93481
Hi,
I am a newly added member to club #4364, Indooroopilly Toastmasters ( indooroopilly.toastmastersclubs.org/ ), and although I have received action notifications for pending access to the club website, I have never been able to access this site since my first attempt over two weeks ago. My most recent attempt has been today and I have had multiple attempts on different dates and different time in between with the same result.

Error I am seeing:

OS: Windows 11
Browsers I have tried: Chrome (latest vers) including Incognito mode, Edge (latest vers) including InPrivate mode
Other tests:
- I have confirmed cookies are enabled
- I have cleared my browsers' cache
- I have tried to ping the server

- I have checked the server status on isitdownrightnow.com which seems to suggest no one is able to access, and yet I have been sent an action notification from the site, and a least one other club member seems able to access it, so this information also doesn't seem correct.

I am not sure what the issue is, but after reading similar posts in this support forum I am wondering if my issue is related to others where IP addresses have been blocked?

Mike.

Hi Mike
You should have received an email asking you to AGREE to allow your contact information to be stored & used on the website, with a link to acknowledge that.  Once you've clicked that link, you'll be able to access the club website and set up a password.

Thank you both for your replies.

@Pam Yes! I did receive an email with that request as per this image: screenrec.com/share/zbjHF2Y5sn

Following the links results in the same error.

@Les, no problem with the admin/user confusion. Unfortunately I am not even getting to to see any content at all so I don't get any authentication fields. I only get the following error (varying format depending on which which I am using):  screenrec.com/share/5ER24bFLav

Mike, please click the accept link and then try accessing the club via this link  Indooroopilly Toastmasters (toastmastersclubs.org)

The screenrec software you're using is pointing to an http rather than https site.  You might need to clear your cache to get rid of bad links
