Use of File Manager

Hi,

I'm in a new role with access to File Manager.
Most of our files are from 2020/21 when a previous person was quite conscientious about loading items.

I have a couple of questions.
Does File Manager allow for modification of the folder structure, or do you get one level and that is it.
Is there a way to archive documents, or is it delete only?

Are there best practices regarding what teams place in the file manager?

You have the root level and one sub level.
You could name the folders for example by year: Newsletters 20-21; Newsletters 21-22; Minutes 20-21 etc.
You could also create pseudo "sub levels" by creating a custom page / pages with links indented in the structure you want to use.

I didn't realize that I could type in anything, and generate a new folder. I was looking for a "create folder" icon.

Thanks.
