Attempt to assign property "value" on string - edit profile

When I attempt to make any of a few changes to my profile as soon as I click on Save I get an errors screen.
I log in, select Edit for 'Profile for rpcook', select tab 'Profile Information' and then try to change any of the fields:
Birthdate, Gender, or Signature
When I select Save I get the attached screen.
I don't think I need quotes as the brithdate and gender fields are menu driven.  Did I miss something?

When I selected an edit link on another page (forgot where I was) it sent  me to page  support.toastmastersclubs.org/forum/profile/edit/
on THAT page it also lists a new field 'User Name' of which the edit field contains html code about a rendering error.  ????   
Is this the field that is in error?

New updates from upstream, profile picture upload now work.

I am still having Oops errors trying to update anything in my profile.
Something new though, all of the social media test boxes were previously empty now show:
<br /><b>Warning</b>:  Attempt to read property

Maybe I should go try this from a Windows 11 tablet and see if it is OS or browser related?
