Signing up a Guest Speaker on the FTH meeting agenda Club 3119

Club #3119 Dartmouth Toastmasters Club, Nova Scotia, Canada
On our weekly FTH meeting agenda in the Speaker column, the sign up window signs in the member clicking on to fill the speaker role. As the VP of Ed when  I sign in as the "Site Admin" and I go to the "Click to assign Member" speaker column, it takes me to the "Member Only" list to select the speaker.

My inquire is the following; How can I set up the FTH meeting agenda site to allow the sign in window to give me the option of signing in a guest speaker? Example: Our Area 11 Div D Director who is doing an official club visit but is also giving a Pathway Speech.

Look forward to your response

You can create a dummy member called "Guest" and use that for visitors to the club.
The guest's name can be added to the role description.

So you might end up with something like this:

Speaker #1                   Guest
Role filled by: John Doe, Area Director

The project details and introduction (if used) can then be added in the usual way.

I entered a Guest once with their actual name in the member log, but my email address (maybe I had to use my personal email, not the email for the club, not sure) . So that way I could "opt in" to FTH on their behalf. that was the only way we could "assign a role" to a guest speaker from the District or from another club. Then after the meeting I had to delete that 'member' from the membership roster in FTH. But - it would be easier if we could "assign a role" to a Guest - with the ability to fill in their name - not just a member.

Last edit: 2 weeks 2 days ago by e.orenstein@ieee.org. Reason: clarified about signing in a guest is if we could actually write in their name as role holder, even though they are not a member

Follow Heni's instructions.
Non members are not supposed to be added to the club website as they have not signed and agreed to the Toastmasters members statement on the membership form, and have not paid dues to become a member.
