Meeting Agendas Club #1268

Thanks very much to the Free Toast Host Team for all the hard work involved with Free Toast Host. We appreciate you all.

During the past month, we have had two instances where there seems to be a shadow agenda. In the latest instance just last week, a member signed up for Word of the Day. A second member went to the agenda site, Word of the Day was blank, and so she signed up.

Could you please get rid of that second "shadow" agenda? Thanks very much for anything you can do.

There's no 'shadow' agenda but we are tracking instances where a conflict might arise when two people are simultaneously attempting to sign up for the same role.

Were either of these instances related to role sign-ups via the agenda email?

Yes, both.
 

OK, I figured out how it happens. But I don't know how to fix it.

When you log in, FTH takes you to our correct meeting date of February 20, 2026.

Alternatively, it sometimes takes you to what I was calling a "shadow" meeting date of February 23, 2026. I am asking FTH administration to get rid of the Monday meeting dates. I have no idea how they got there. Thank you.

I have to send out a new meeting agenda reminder, so for today, I will include a note to go to Club Calendar, click on February 20, and use the agenda that comes up to sign up for a role.

You're seeing that this address ( 1268.toastmastersclubs.org/agenda.html ) will occasionally show an agenda that is not the next agenda? How many club members have experienced this?

As with any odd page loading behavior, browser cache should be cleared and the site reloaded from the server. (link at the bottom of the page)

Tip; when you send out meeting reminders you could also the copy address from the calendar to include in your note.

e.g. Feb 20th is  1268.toastmastersclubs.org/agenda-2385024.html
