How to Manually Create a Site Map for Google

In an attempt to fully optimize our site with Google webmaster tools I wanted to submit a sitemap. I chose to create a site map including only the public pages. Complete directions are on the Google support site at: support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer...topic=8476&ctx=topic

I created the file as directed and then uploaded to the file manager and made to document public. Then copied the download address from the File Download box, like I was making a direct download link and pasted the address into the Submit a Stie Map box in Google Webmaster Tools.

It came back with no errors. I have attached a copy of the file if you would like to download and customize for your site.

I received errors when testing in google.

Error message: General HTTP error: HTTP 403 error (Forbidden)
HTTP Error: 403

Oh this is so wonderful! Thank you everyone for your help on this! I was able to submit the site map.txt and no errors.
