I sometimes create a special event agenda or another type of FTH agenda that I want to edit but temporarily prevent members from signing up for. (until I am done editing it)
Here are two approaches to temporarily "locking out" an agenda from members signing up for roles:
1. You can create/save the agenda as an agenda template and add it once you have all your changes complete.
If the agenda is a "one-off", you can always delete the template.
2. You can create your agenda as a normal agenda, but then set its meeting date to be a date in the *past*. (e.g., a year ago) Only VPE's and webmasters can edit past meeting agendas. I sometimes find this approach to be easier, since the meeting date is a very simple thing to edit from the agenda viewer screen. I can change the date back and forth from the past to present very quickly to "lock" or "unlock" the agenda from member sign-ups.
