How to change the menu positioning of *Default Menu Items*

You can change the menu ordering of any Custom Web Page / Link by prefixing it with a number or letter that forces the alphabetical sort to work to your liking.

However, you can actually also change the menu positioning of any *default menu item* that you can hide the link for in the admin console.

The way to do this is to first click on the menu link for the default menu item, copy the web page address that shows up for it in the address bar in your browser, hide the link for the default menu item in the admin console, then create a new Custom Web Page link where you just paste the web page address for the link you hid into the content area for the Custom Web Page link.

Since you have effectively created a custom link back to the default menu item that you just hid, you can use the same techniques for repositioning the custom menu item as for any other custom menu item. You can even rename what text shows up in the menu for the link.

Now you can override the default alpha sorting of Custom Web Pages / Links in the menus with the Menu Position # feature in FreeToastHost 2.11, just released.
