Space limit of "Meet Our Members" Web page

Hi Steve, 

I have co-worked with club members to complete the Web page of "Meet Our Members". It's great that all
my club members unanimously agree to provide their data and open their profiles to the public. It really
helps members to know one another at a glance, especially useful whenever any member needs be
introduced at the meeting by TME or GE.

Our page of "Meet Our Members" can be found below:

As the members will keep being added to this Web page, may I know is there space limit of the Web page or not?
I ask it due to Custom web page content has a limit of 65535 characters.

Since the Meet Our Members page is generated from many members information, it is different than a typical custom web page.

When you create content for a custom web page, it is stored as one large "chunk" that is subject to the size limit.

However, because the information for the Meet Our Members page comes from several storage locations (each member's profile), the only think you need to be concerned about is whether each members bio is too large. The reason for the limits is always storage allocation, not the actual web page itself.

I can store up to the 65535 characters for each member bio, but I think we have a lower limit than that to keep them from getting too long. Remember that in Toastmasters, being concise matters. I see that in the code we have a limit of 650 characters for the member profiles. Of course, this is arbitrary to keep the profiles short, so if you can give me a good justification for something longer, I am open to discussing that.

It looks like somehow you got around the arbitrary 650 character limit... interesting.

Those are pretty long... have you checked how much website visitors are actually reading all that?

Thanks for your quick response. It's clear.
Actually, I didn't pay attention to how many visitors read it as I only enable "Hit counter" for Website statistics.
But, most of club members and guest members who support our meeting role refer to this page quite often.

I agree with you that in Toastmasters, being concise matters. Most memebrs' bio is concise, partial senior
members with richer experiences in Toastmasters journey or career come with more introductions (it's to
attract potential guests).

Basically, so long as there is no specific limit of the Web page, it's fine with me.
