Weblink to district webpage adds charachter

2 months 6 days ago
#101308
Hello, Philip from club 4905
When adding a new custom page and placing the district URL in the body, after saving then selecting the link from the side bar the URL adds characters that are not in the original link on our club's custom webpage.  The page gives a 403 Forbidden error.  When I delete the extra characters in the address bar the link works.  Why does this happen and how to eliminate.  My other link pages work fine,
I deleted that custom page and created another one but still the error.  On FTH3
Thank for the help.

Thanks Brian for the prompt reply.  I do know how to add links.  The problem is  ( as shown in the attached image) FTH is adding extras characters to the link when clinked on from the menu sidebar.  I insert d12.toastmastersdistricts.org into the new page and when I save and then click on the new link FTH pastes in the web address bar
d12.toastmastersdistricts.org/ ?2HnTe7 and gives a forbidden error.  Why would it do this?
Try yourself.  On our page  4905.toastmastersclubs.org/ click on the District 203 FTH link
None of my other direct links do this.
Perplexed.

Brian, as you can see in the attached image, thats all I have, just the straight url.  But when the "District 203 FTH" link is clicked on FTH add extra characters, as I shown in the previous message.  I deleted that custom page and made a new one.  Still happens.  Could the be a bug somewhere?
I also tried with https.  Same problem.

Never mine.  Found the issue.  The extra characters behind the basic url are needed in the custom page.  Copy and pasted this
d12.toastmastersdistricts.org/?2Hnafg
and it works.  Did not have to do this with the other link pages. But problem solved.
Thanks for your replies.
