Meet Our Members

Our FTH site is set as "Disable ALL Members Only Features (Public Use Website ONLY)". This means only admin can log in.
How can we add members on the Meet Our Members page. We already got agreements from those members for being public.
Last week, admin made one member public as we have been doing so far. Today we found admin cannot control it any longer.
Please give us any solution.

The members have to go into their profiles and make them public. Due to the GDPR Laws, only the member can make their personal information public.
In their profiles they need to check the box beside "Check to be included in the public Meet Our Members page. "

Brian,
Our FTH site has public pages only. It does not have "Member login" button. How can our members log in to it?

MA:
I read this thread, and as I read it, the thought that occurred to me is that your club is likely entering your members personal information and publishing it on the Meet Our Members page, but since the website is set for Public Use Only, your members are essentially prevented from editing or deleting any information entered about them or on their behalf.
If your club is indeed doing something like this, it is a bad practice and very problematic under the current prevailing privacy regulations.
The Public Use Only setting was implemented to allow clubs to simply start using a FreeToastHost website as a "dumb billboard" with no operations features being enabled and certainly no member information being entered or used. If you have set a website as "Public Use Only", you should definitely *not* be displaying a Meet Our Members page, since that would imply that you have entered member information that your members have no control over.
I agree with Brian, that for your use case, you should not be using a "Public Use Only" website... you should un-check that setting. In addition, I am thinking I should prevent the Meet Our Members page from being displayed on "Public Use Only" websites.
