Microsoft has already officially ended support for all Internet Explorer versions except for IE11:

I have strived to make FreeToastHost support some of these older IE versions a bit longer than the official MS support. However, as FreeToastHost depends heavily on the use of JavaScript and the support for these older IE versions only serves to make the system bulkier and slower, it is time to make some decisions about our browser support moving forward...
By the end of 2018, I want to be able to have FreeToastHost fully utilize the features of ECMAScript 5, which is the version of JavaScript used in IE11. See the following for more details:
www.w3schools.com/js/js_versions.asp
Thus, at the end of 2018, we will only support IE11 (no earlier versions of Internet Explorer) in addition to Microsoft Edge, Chrome, FireFox, Safari, and other similar *modern* browsers.
If you are using an older version of Internet Explorer, I would
strongly recommend that you start looking for an alternative web browser to use.
