NEW FEATURE - Email Address Checker (in Membership Management)

I added a new Membership Tool to the drop-down in Membership Management... It is the "Email Address Checker" tool. You can use it to just check the email addresses of selected members or all people in Membership Management. It presents the results in a pop-up table.

As the Notice pop-up indicates, it can take quite a while to complete if you click Check ALL, so you will probably just use this tool selectively most of the time.

If this tool says an email address is "Bad", it means that we are either detecting that the email address looks invalid, the domain does not exist, we are unable to connect to the recipient's email server, the recipient's email server says the address is bogus, or we have determined that emails to the address have bounced too many times.

Hopefully this tool will help you to determine what email addresses are bad (in Membership Management) and eliminate them from further use.

Steve, this is so badass - I just used this tool to figure out why a member isn't getting emails from the club (when sent from the website, obv). I think I know the issue, but I don't know how to solve it. Our member, Carol Behr, was using her work email, but left that company. When that happened, that email address bounced and was flagged as bad (totally normal). The issue is she's back with the company, with that same email address, which is now valid, but it's still flagged as "bad" because of the previous bounce backs when she left the company briefly. Is there a way to get toasthost to take this email address off the bad list now that it's valid again?

Member is Carol Behr, email address that's "bad" is carol.behr@kp.org. Her other, personal email has no issues but it's not the email she checks regularly. Any insight or assistance is definitely appreciated!

Jill,
Log in as admin, click on Launch Admin Console. In the Drop down, click on Email and Contact Forms, choose Email Security and remove her from the Blacklist.Save and Close.

Roger, she's not on the black list, that box is empty. I added her to the white list, but it's still saying the email address is bad when I use the address checker. Thoughts?
