As VPE (and now as Admin), I often had a need to copy information between agendas - such as a list of Upcoming Events/Meetings, details of a speech if being moved between meetings, copying descriptions of roles, , ..... I used to open an "host agenda" containing the information I wanted to copy or move; Ctrl-C to copy it, (sometimes paste it into a Word doc), closed original agenda, opened the new "target agenda" where I wanted to copy it, and Ctrl-V to paste it.
Then I discovered that I could do the following: If I copy the URL an Open agenda and pasted it into a new tab/window, I have TWO copies of active Agenda that are independent of each other. (I can then open a different agenda in each session - one serving as the "host" from which I want to copy information, the other as the "target" to where I want to move that information.
I use it both when I'm logged in as a User to move/copy speech descriptions between two different agenda dates; and also when logged in as Admin (and formerly as VPE) to modify multiple fields between agendas.
Because I have two different login sessions open, I have to log off from each "new session" independently (so I don't leave any session open if I just closed the Tab). I haven't yet had more than two sessions open at once for editing.
I find it very handy to use. Wondered if others had accidentally stumbled across it - or use it.
