Shading behind headers

Re FTH3 under Windows 10 using Chrome.

Our FTH site has a webpage of announcements. The first several headings look fine but thereafter, a grey strip runs thru headlines.

I would insert images here but the grey stripe would be faint. It's easier to see on the webpage itself, gribblegatekeepers.toastmastersclubs.org/Announcements.html

- Starting from the top, headers thru 8 December 2018 look fine

- The 11 July 2017 header thereafter is where the stripe first appears

I've tried different settings to eliminate the stripe but nothing works. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if there's an errant unprintable character that is the culprit, or if it's CKEditor (its link no longer exists), or what. I don't see where in the documentation this matter is addressed but if it is, then a link would be great.

Thanks.

Looks like you are using Characters with a grey background. Remove that formatting.

Brian, that worked! I never would've thought of that. Thank you.
