Old club name in the URL

Our club recently changed its name. I was able to update the website and create a short URL that works - but when I do a Google search (like someone who is looking for a club in Wickliffe, Ohio might do) the old club name still appears in the URL. How can we remove the old club name (Miner Road Speakeasy) from the URL and replace it with the new club name, which is The Toastmasters of Wickliffe? Screenshot attached. Thank you for the help.

Google takes a while to catch up with changes. The Google bot needs to crawl your website before that will happen.

There may be ways to speed that up, but I'm not well-informed on such things (maybe someone else can comment).

Do, however, make sure that your URL is updated on any other websites where it appears. E.g. your District site, local "what's on" sites, Toastmasters International etc.

Get set up w/ Google Webmaster Tools to deal with this sort of thing.
www.google.com/webmasters/

Refer to our online docs for how to set up your FTH website to work w/ webmaster tools.

You can request that Google recrawl your website immediately.
