Automatic Emails: From "Guest" to "Prospects"

Hello. I just added about 50 individuals to our "Guest" list in Membership Management. Unfortunately, I should have added these people to the "Prospects" list. If I perform a bulk action to move the 50 "guests" to "prospects" will each individual receive an automatic email about the change?

I prefer NOT to trigger an automatic email by moving individuals across lists. Please advise.

No... they only need to opt in once. That is how I implemented it.

Ok. So once people opt-in, I am able to move them between lists (e.g., Members, Former Members, Guests, Prospects, etc.) without triggering any automatic emails? That's great! Thank you!

That is correct. That is the intent. Essentially, they are opting into the use of the FreeToastHost system... they are not opting into a particular list.

Also, it is the same db record in the system. All that really happens is that a "category field" in the record just is updated... from Prospect to Guest, for example.
