ReCAPTCHA is a Google technology that attempts to identify suspicious behaviors for certain parts of the website (e.g. logins) that are typically (but not always) associated with automated scripts and bots.

We are currently evaluating the technology for the entire FTH system as an enhanced security approach.  There is really no good way of evaluating it separate from just having implemented it in a passive way (which I did) and awaiting users feedback. (which you did... thx)  You are seeing these messages because something that this person did was interpreted (via a scoring mechanism) by the ReCAPTCHA functions as a bit suspicious.

In this case, I suspect that the person is using a password filler for their logins and this was misinterpreted as being an automated bot.  You might check w/ them if they use a password filler (or the browser autofill)... I would be interested in that info.

Much like a spell-checker, the ReCAPTCHA functions do not always get it right with flagging activities...  I am evaluating whether the technology works "good enough" for the system to get some value from it.
