Printing Sign-Up Sheet Issues

2 years 9 months ago
#89915
I'm president of Toastmasters Club 637.  I'm playing with the meeting agenda features.  One feature that I'm trying to use is the Print Role Sign-Up Sheet.  According to the description, it's supposed to print out the dates across the top column and the roles along the left side of the sheet.  When I print out the sheet, it only lists the dates across the top, but there are no roles listed at all along the left side.  What am I doing wrong?

Thank you,
Sylvan

There are two issues here:
1 - you only have one future agenda which the system regards as the current agenda.
2 - none of your roles are sign-up roles.  The sign-up sheet only lists sign-up roles.
See the "Edit Role" section of this documentation for how to change role settings:  support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/editing-an-agenda

In answer to your first point, I have agendas setup through March, so I do have more than one future agenda.
In answer to your second point, I do have roles setup and even have people assigned to roles for the past two weeks and the upcoming week.  But the roles I have setup are not displaying when I want to print out a sign up sheet.  So I'm still lost as to what else it could be.

Thank you,
Sylvan

I can only see 2 agendas (8 & 15 Feb)
Even though you have assigned people to roles, you haven't ticked the setting that allows members to sign up for them (Non-sign up roles typically apply to roles such as Presiding Officer & SAA as they are reserved for those officers (and usually set in the agenda templates), or special events.  Please read the documentation I pointed you to in my previous post.

Yeah.  I've been playing around with the templates.  I'd create several agendas for the month and then delete them and recreate them again whenever I changed the template.  You just happened to look at a time when I had deleted the templates.  But you did mention that I did not have the "user can sign up for this role" checked.  That is correct.  Before I became president, no one was using this agenda feature.  I'm trying to slowly work them into it.  I still have them sign up for roles using a spreadsheet.  I thought this feature would have been neat to have.  But once I went back and checked off that box that allows users to sign up for roles, I was able to get the signup sheet printed that I wanted.  That was the missing link in my problem.  Thank you so much for your help.
