VP Ed gets moved to Former Member tab

Our VP Ed - Edija Saripova - has had ongoing issues with her email getting moved to Former Member status. This started with her business email. We determined that her business firewall and other security measures were interfering with the FTH emails.
Edija changed her email to a gmail account: edijasaripova@gmail.com several months ago and this worked fine.
Until just recently - I noticed her name on the Former Members tab about a week ago and moved her back to Members tab.
Just got off the phone with her and she has no access to the CCTM web site because she had been moved to Former Member. Just moved her back to Member tab. This is like whack a mole!
Can we fix this? we have probably a dozen other members using gmail accounts with no issue. Thanks! Nancy Spurry VP PR/webmaster

Your Admin messages contain numerous instances of her being moved to Former Members; Oct 8th, Oct 5th and July 9th.

What's curious about these is there several messages with (almost) the same time stamp for each date. One contains her name, the additional messages for each date do not contain a name. Almost as if a non-member clicked the link, however, the 2nd email that contains the former member confirmation link is received only by the original club member.

I found another topic where Brian mentioned someone clicking the 'Is this Spam' link in an email can trigger the move to Former Members. The 'Is this Spam' link appears in emails received by FTH club members from external sources but if they forward such an email it would still contain that link.

Is it possible she has forwarding enabled for club emails received by her gmail account? Maybe club emails containing the 'No Longer a Member' or 'Is this spam' are still getting into or in some fashion older messages are still making the rounds in her work domain.

It's possible to disable the 'No longer a Member' link but that won't help with anything already out there. Also, the link appears to have worked as intended in a recent instance; see your August 6th admin message.

The end result is still the same; when it happens move the affected person back to the Members tab. This is why the event appears in the admin messages; to alert the club to check if it was an intended change.

Thanks for the effort! At the moment, she is still on the Member tab. So this is intermittent issue.
Will continue to monitor.
One think...
When I get an admin notice, it gives IP address but I can never see the actual email so there is no way to know who just got bounced. Any way to figure out?

The admin messages related to the move from Members to Former Members does not contain an IP address:

[2023-10-05 10:39AM GMT, FreeToastHost System Notification]

Edija Saripova has indicated via a "Not a Member?" email link that they are no longer a member of club
2977 and has requested that the system move them to Former Member status.

This message is to notify you that the system has completed this request.

Two of our members are reporting similar problems.  If their firewall bounces the message, do they get unentolled?

Not sure about the firewall issue, but my VP Ed was bounced yet again. Seems she can get one email then she is a former member. I need to move jar back about once a week.
she thought she had fixed it.  Did not have forwarding turned on. Did not report spam. Did not click on no longer a member. Just gets moved for apparently no reason.
